Additional options available in General and 3D View Lighting Settings sections.
Show Line Profile plane in 3D View: Display the currently selected line profile plane from the Top View on the 3D model when the Step Height or Slice function is enabled.
Show intersection line: Show where the line profile plane meets the measured surface.
Show axes in 3D View: Show X, Y, and Z scales around the image.
Show Box: Display a box below the lowest measured points in the image with a desired opacity.
Flat Shading: Render the surface using a flat light source instead of specular.
Height Scale: Position slider to exaggerate (>1) or minimize (<1) the z-scale on the image.
An XYZ origin plot is located in the upper right corner of the 3D View to maintain orientation while moving the sample. The plot is anchored at what would be the front left corner of the sample image, correlating with the bottom left corner of the 2D View. Click Default Camera View to revert to this view and reset changes that have been applied to the 3D model.
Z-Axis Origin radio buttons toggle where the z-axis is zeroed on the image. Origin at Minimum sets the 0 at the lowest measured point, while Origin at Maximum sets 0 at the highest. Origin from Data uses whatever information is included in the loaded image. Click Return to Default to reset the value.
Control the lighting orientation and intensity settings for the model. Values can be set to user preference, and the image updates as changes are made. To reset to the default setting (Relative to Camera, Azimuth 0, Elevation -45), click the Default button. Control relative light intensity using the Light Intensity slider. Default light intensity is 100%.
