Use the AFM operators to correct line errors from images acquired using raster-scanning microscopes. While the most common scanning technique is AFM (Atomic Force Microscopy), the AFM Operators will work with images acquired from other raster-scanning techniques such as STM (Scanning Tunneling Microscopy) and confocal microscopes. Note that AFM Operators will produce undesirable results when used on non-raster-scanned images.
